ActiveIce Spectrum Sun Hoodie

I’ve owned every sun shirt OR has made (except Astroman) and this is my favorite. I’ve bought three of them at different times and they’ve seen a lot of wear. I have close ties to Mexico and these shirts see wear for weeks while I’m there. The fabric is softer than the echo or previous sun hoody they made and it is more comfortable than either when wearing wet at the beach. It’s also good they don’t have any zippers that would corrode in the ocean climate here. My others have corroded just hanging in a closet in between visits. While the echo hoody is nothing to scoff at, and it has a use, the higher sun protection of the active ice hoody makes it my goto sun shirt in blazing beach days. I also own some short sleeve versions of the active ice line but use those for the gym. A truly great shirt.
