Mi-Bas Repos 70 Sheer Support Knee Highs

I wear support knee highs for flying, especially on long flights because my legs feel don't get that fatigued feeling. For a recent trip I could not find my opaque Oroblu support knee-highs so I bought these more sheer ones because that is all I could find online. They feel good and look good. Despite being sheer, the knit is sturdy and did not snag or run. The wide band at the top is comfortable and not binding. The level of support is not too tight for sitting, but tight enough that they provide support while walking. I have been buying Oroblu since the early 1990s and it is still one of my go-to brands. The quality to price ratio makes the products a very good value.

I'm really happy with these support knee-highs. I still have swelling in my right leg, ankle, and foot from a car accident over 1 1/2 years ago, and the Oroblu stockings provide the compression I need, especially in the ankles, while still looking stylish. I got a run in my first pair after wearing them only 3 times but that's not necessarily a fault of the stockings. Could be that I snagged them while putting them on because they are a snug fit and need to be eased on gradually from toes to knees.

Very good product, but the price on the package is $13.5, not as marketed on Nordstrom's website ($28). Thankfully I went to the store and the lady adjusted the price. Other sellers on the internet also sell this at 13.5. Not sure why there's the mark up by Nordstrom. I want to get additional pairs, but will buy them elsewhere.

It's hard finding compression knee highs to help with mild swelling from pregnancy. Not even the big name maternity store carries knee highs online! These are light enough for warmer weather, but provide support because I'm on my feet at work. I can definitely see the difference in my ankles when I wear these vs when I do not. I have bought 2 pairs and one did snag at the toe area. My toe nails were filed and polished, so nothing sharp to pierce them. bummer. However, I love them enough that I'm willing to admit snags DO happen with hosiery. I am buying another 3 pairs.
