Original Collection Platform Slide Sandal (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firm fit and adjustable so if your feet swell or you'd like to wear your compression socks, it will still fit with those on. It has a firm sole, and good support. The quality is good and you can tell that the bottom of the shoe won't fall apart. Due to the harder soles this might not be appropriate for heavy walking or standing but it was a perfect pair of extra vacation shoes or to use around the water, whenever sneakers aren't appropriate

Thank you so much for bringing the toe bump back! These are the same as I began wearing 55 years ago and advertised as the Original Exercise Sandal and purchased in the pharmacy. Although I have never been without a pair since then, the missing bump just wasn’t as comfortable especially on my feet all day. The sandals are the only thing preventing my back pain. Same stylish look, super comfy, can never be duplicated.

The wooden platform really makes them heavy so they are only good to wear for short amounts of time. I like the nostalgia of them being the original shoe but I just don’t feel like I have enough support when wearing them long term. I am a fan of the color though- they look really cute with summer outfits and the brown matches almost everything! If I’m being totally transparent- I think the price is a bit too steep as well.

I thought they would be uncomfortable because of the hard material, but they are actually much more pleasant than I expected. The strap on the sandal is leather and strong. The buckle is adjustable so you can adjust it to your foot, but it is very difficult to make the shoe tighter. You will need a second person to help you tighten it. The shoes definitely have some weight to them, but that’s from the all wood base. They don’t feel very heavy when you’re wearing them. My biggest complaint about these shoes is that they have no back strap so when you walk, they are almost like flip flops. It just takes some getting used to. Overall, these shoes are great and very stylish!
