Original Collection Platform Slide Sandal (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box I LOVED these! I still love them. The "bump" is a bit different than the toe ridge on the old Exersole Sandals and seems to push into the ball of my foot a bit; however, it still gives the exercise for my feet that the former did and seems to be making my leg muscles stronger. Amazing! I measured well before ordering and was glad that I got the size I did. With the old version, I always had to size down one size. At first, because the "bump" was a bit different, I found myself scooting back in them to make it more under the gap of my toes and wondered if I should have ordered the next size UP, but I got used to it and the size I got (by going exactly by the sizing chart and measurements of my feet) is fine. If you order the dark brown, do know that the wood for these is darkened by stain to match. My toes are beginning to rub that color off where they grab BUT it does NOT show when I have them on, so no worries there. I would still order the same color if I had to do it all over again. I am very well pleased with these and the only thing that would make me happier would be to have the old footbed toe grab-bar and arch support back, but I understand from research that that was patented and may not be available to this shoe division. Again, I am very happy with these and I thank Dr. Scholl Shoes for listening to customers. I was also impressed with the quality of the materials used. Very pretty retro. I actually have them on right now as I am typing this!

My usual shoe size is a 9, so that's the size I ordered, but they turned out to be significantly smaller than the rest of my shoes. I sized up 1 size and I still barely had any room at the back of the clog. I actually sized up now 2 sizes, but unfortunately cannot report back because that size sold out. Super cute sandals though! Possibly missizing due to my own preference of fit? Returns were extremely easy as well

Disappointed the pair I purchased are a tad short in length and not like I remember. Like many others, wore these in the 70's. I truly believe they launched my love of this brand & style-why I prefer wearing mule-style/backless shoes. I learned to walk & balance without a 'strap'. Authentic wood sole & leather-simple back then is why I tried them now. I'm all for updated styles-just keep the original quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firm fit and adjustable so if your feet swell or you'd like to wear your compression socks, it will still fit with those on. It has a firm sole, and good support. The quality is good and you can tell that the bottom of the shoe won't fall apart. Due to the harder soles this might not be appropriate for heavy walking or standing but it was a perfect pair of extra vacation shoes or to use around the water, whenever sneakers aren't appropriate
