Grandiose Hair Plumping Mousse

Having lived all my life with hair pasted to my head so much it closely resembles seaweed on a rock, I’ve tried literally EVERYTHING to give it body. Granted, it very long and I have a lot of it, but it’s baby fine. Toddlers have thicker hair than I do. Every styling product I’ve ever used-even hairspray-left me with lifeless hair hanging from my head thirty minutes after I applied it. Then I decided to order the smaller size of this, based on the reviews yet still skeptical because I didn’t think a product existed that could give my hair some body. To my absolute sheer glee and amazement, this works!!! For the first time my hair actually FEELS thick! My normally dime sized ponytail is even larger! My hair has volume and KEEPS volume all day, until I wash it out!!! You only need a little bit, otherwise your hair feels a bit crunchy and dry, although it doesn’t look it, just feels that way if you’re concerned about how your hair feels with the product in. I will absolutely be buying the full size of this for the rest of my life because this stuff is amazing!!!

I have a lot of thin, limp hair. When I put it in a top knot, I look Ms. Trunchbull from Matilda. I get blow-outs and even my blow-out doesn't last through an event. I have taken vitamins, tried every imaginable hair product, and gone days without washing in a desperate attempt to conjure it to life. Even in 0% humidity, my hair will barely hold a curl. It looks like a baby's hair that has that one lone ranger of a curl. I bought this and the thickening dry spray. After reading the reviews, I used a small amount in my damp hair. When I was finished with the drying alone, it looked like I had on a wig. It was thick, wild, and beautiful! Timidly, I used a curling iron and after the curling was finished, I finished it with the Dry Thickening Spray. HOLY MOLY, not only does it thicken my hair but it holds the curls in 90% HUMIDITY FOLKS! 3 hours later....still going strong. I don't expect it to last all day, but 3 hours is enough to get through family pictures or any other event. I plan on purchasing the "humidity proof" hairspray next. It is pricey, but if it will hold a curl in my hair, it is well worth it. Even when I wear my hair straight, it will actually look decent. THANK YOU!

While I like this product, it isn’t a miracle product. The first time I used it, I used too much and it made my hair sticky. The second time was better, but I’ve tried other mousses or thickening sprays that I might prefer. I will use the product until the end of the bottle, but unsure if I would buy again. Would go for 3.5 stars.

I was excited to try the mousse but was REALLY disappointed after I used it. In fact I had to wash it out of my hair and couldn't continue to blow dry as the mousse became sticky! Needless to say, because I had thrown away the receipt and packaging, I wound up throwing the bottle away. Huge waste of money!!
