Disappointing fit
I ordered in my size but could not entirely zip up the side enclosure. I am so disappointed in this trend of EF to have side zippers on skirts. Please bring back the elastic waist band with no zippers. I also cannot wear the shorter, boxy tops that are so prevalent now on the EF website. EF has changed their designs to market for a younger and thinner crowd. I have been a loyal customer for over 25 years but I may have to move on.

I have not yet worn the skirt, but having tried it on it looks just like I expected. Lightweight denim feel and look, will be perfect. With a number of sleeveless Eileen Fisher tops. Try it on first!
I noticed and admired two random women in NYC wearing this skirt recently, and once I realized it was EF brand I tried it for myself. On me though, it was an awkward unflattering length, neither midi nor maxi, something in between. The deep faced hem makes it impossible to alter, so I reluctantly sent it back.
