Organic Cotton Bandana

The scarf is lovely and light-weight. I was expecting the equivalent of a standard bandana with a different pattern, but this is a much thinner cotton. There were a few small runs of red on the design, but you wouldn't really notice it. If feels soft and elegant, like a proper decorative scarf, not a bandana.

If you love scarves - particularly in the winter - give bandannas another try! Bandannas have come a long way since summer camp, and you can add one - in a variety of colors and designs - to virtually everything you wear. Knot forward or in the back - they look great either way. No special knot, just tie and go!

During the current Covid19 crisis, I was looking for a 100% cotton bandana that I could use as a face covering just for taking short walks around my neighborhood. I use a mask for grocery shopping. I liked that the Madewell bandana was 100% cotton, there were some pretty colors, and it would work as a face covering. Ordering online was easy, and I wasn't surprised when it said that some items might be delayed in shipping due to the current health crisis. I was promised a date of around 4/16. Imagine my delight and surprise when the package was delivered on 4/8/20, 8 days early! I have been wearing the bandana and am quite pleased with it.
