Linen Blend Vest

I have been looking for a nice linen vest and unfortunately this one did not workout for my petite frame. 1) I got an XS per review and the width and buttons fit perfect in a relaxed way. 2) however the V neck was just far too deep. I do have a much shorter shoulder-to-chest length but unlike the model’s modest neckline, it sank all the way to my xiphoid and would need alterations to look more daytime appropriate. 3) more annoyingly the armholes were also too deep which is a more challenging issue to fix. A bra or camisole band can be easily seen, but going sans bra leaves the arm hole gapping a bit too much. 4) the vest also came with 2 big off-white stains on the back. Not sure if it was previously returned or an oil stain from a warehouse but yet another reason to return. My linen vest search continues!

Meh. Think there are better fits for this trend out there. I sized up from my usual medium to large and the arm holes were way too big and showed a lot of my bra but the vest came up past my belly button and has a low neckline. I don’t have a large chest and still felt it was too low cut and revealing.
