so cute but sizing is way off

Ok Guys, let me give you the scoop. I ordered these pants 3x before finally landing on the proper size. I am 5’1, 130 pounds and had to size up all the way to 8 in these. The waist runs extremely small, so you gotta go up at least two sizes. I ordered the pants in the light blue, tan and red. I got the matching suit jackets in size extra small. They are stunning sets and the perfect addition for my spring/summer work wardrobe.

The cut

The cut of the pants is not for pear shaped women which is surprising for wide leg pants. The cut is for women with na straight shape.

Nice pants

Each person has a different body type. My normal size is Medium/Size 10. Decided to purchase size 12 which was too tight around the waist but perfect everywhere else. The fit is more like a contour fit where the waist is cut smaller than the rest of the pants. Overall, the style and fabric are very nice.

Runs Very Small

I normally wear either a size 8 or 10. I decided to size up to a 10 and I can’t zip them up. I would consider going up at least 2 sizes if you want these. Something is off with the sizing.

Very small at the waist

The pant is cut smaller. I am a 6 or 8. I ordered a size 10. I am returning for a size 12. I agree with the other reviewer to go up 2 sizes. Love the weight of the material, very soft and comfortable. It is well made but the cut is smaller. Easy returns. I am getting two sizes up.

Very Small Waist

I am normally a size 10 in pants but I had to size up all the way to a size 14 just for them to fit my waist. By sizing up, this made me look I was swimming in the pants. Also, the appearance of the black pants look like it was very faded. I will be returning these.
