Fitted Short Sleeve Sweater

This is a cute sweater but it runs very small. Size up at least 1 if not 2 sizes.

Purchased Ivory color. I am usually a medium in tops, but this felt Iike an XS/S. The ivory was also a bit see through with a bra. Material was very soft. I’m age 46 and a size 4/6 in most clothing. Unfortunately, returning.

This a very nice piece for transitional seasons and feels a little more elevated than just a basic t-shirt. I bought this because of the reviews that it runs small. I typically buy an xxs in non petite clothing but the xs fit perfect and was just the right length. For reference I am 5’1’’ and about 100 pounds. I am also short waisted so those with a longer torso might want to size up but it fit great on me.

Normally I don’t write reviews but feel like this one is warranted. This is a great top- super soft material, simple wardrobe staple and good construction. However, I usually buy a lot of pieces from Open Edit and have never seen sizing this off! I normally wear XS (have other Open Edit tips in XS and they fit great) but this one took me multiple tries until I got to Medium which fits perfect. The XS and S were short and really tight on me (especially the arms!). Medium fits perfect (IMO the medium fits like a normal Open Edit XS would…..). So moral of the story, SIZE UP!

I gave this 5 stars because it is really pretty; but oh boy does it run small! I went by the size info and model size, ‘model is certain size and weight, wearing size small’ for example. Abosolutely no way! I am 5’4”, 118 pounds, bust 32C and it was as tight as a corset and see through. I am going to exchange it for a large, maybe even x-large. O
