Cloudventure Trail Running Shoe - Women

When I bought these I didn't realize they're the shoes my neighbor has been walking in for years. When I complimented hers she said, "But they're sort of ugly!" Yet she loves them. I thought the Sandstone color was going to be more of a rust; it unfortunately isn't, but they're just about the best walking show I've ever worn. Took no time to break in; I walked for miles my first 2 days in them. I don't find them super attractive, and they have this weird 'cloven hoof' sole...but there's something fun about them. Like, they're so ugly they're cute? I do wish they came in better colors, like a dark navy or something. (Not sure why women's athletic shoes are so often in pastels or tan.) Regardless, I have bunions and special snowflake feet that give me trouble in all kinds of ways – but these shoes keep my feet (and back) happy. For the record I like a wide-ish toe box and a narrow-ish heel, and am a size 9. I bought a 9.5, which I usually do in athletic shoes, and they fit perfectly, with just enough room. Love em!
