Cloud Waterproof Running Shoe - Men

I like the overall style of the sneakers, why I gave it 2 stars, but they have almost no cushion/insoles. It felt like my foot hit the bottom of the shoe. Tested them outside anyway & ohhhhh the pain in my spine. I felt each impact while I ran and my big toe rubbed against the top. I came back home and tried to run on the treadmill instead but nope, it didn’t work. These sneakers should have more support for the price. And fyi, yes I sized up & I am a female who sometimes purchase mens running sneakers (if they are neutral colors) because I’ve found that they offer more cushion. These just didn’t work.

I have 2 pairs of On Clouds running shoes (regular ie not the waterproof) and absolutely love them as it truly feels like I'm walking on a cloud. I purchased the waterproof version so I would run/walk in Seattle rain and had to return them due to noise and stiffness. There is a waterproof plastic that crinkles with each step. There must be additional waterproofing that also results in this shoe being more stiff, tighter in width vs. the non waterproof and would likely require .5 size higher.

The shoes are comfortable, however, beware that is you get these wet by even the slightest amount the glue that holds the sole to the shoe will dissolve and you will be left with a shoe that is separating with every step. I took these on a trip to Ecuador (12 days) and bought them two days prior—a total of 14 days worn and the sole is beginning to separate. These will be returned immediately—ALSO THIS IS MY SECOND OAIR THIS HAS HAPPENED TO.

At first I really like the ON brand BUT - I have never had a running show literally fall apart as this ON pair did - I rotate wearing multiple pairs of running shoes - so this and two other pairs also have shown signs of poor quality - my most recent purchase has started coming apart in less than six months!
