Warning: Nordstrom has gone downhill
I was so excited to get this coat in another color (Sand in size m). I ordered it and did an unboxing recording (because I've noticed some QC issues with them lately especially with designer items). This came from the Topanga Plaza store apparently.
And I was horrified when I opened it. It was clearly worn and returned.
-It smelled awful
-Had the tags reattached (they should be attached in a different area with the string not clear plastic)
-Had multiple stains including on the underarm area
-Had the sensor tag
I took it to my local store to return it and pointed out all of the flaws. Susan told me they can't accept the return bc it was an online order (apparently they recently changed a policy for online orders) and I will have to mail it back. This was extremely upsetting because why should I as the customer accept this item that should've never been sent out and wait a week or longer for a refund? Once a manager came down and more arguing, they said they'd return it as a one time courtesy.
But, really? I should've never been sent this item to begin with and certainly never should've had to argue with them. They (Susan and a manager) never said sorry and treated me like dirt. I literally didn't do anything wrong. Super disappointing and honestly makes me want to just go to Neimans/BG, Bloomies, NET-A-Porter, and other places.
(Thankfully, I have an unworn one in another color with the tags attached so I could compare it. Not that it wasn't already obvious that something was awry.)
