Oasis Runner Sneaker (Women)

Let me tell you something about these sneakers. They are adorable. Or so I thought! I bought these shoes yesterday and wore them for about three hours. WHEN I TELL YOU THE GOLD IS ALREADY PEELING OFF IN HUGE SPLOTCHES! Moreover, the rubber at the front of the toe IS PEELING OFF, TOO!! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES IN GOLD OR SILVER. LOW, LOW, LOW QUALITY. Very disappointing considering I was so excited about these shoes! C'mon Vince, this isn't the way!

These are very cute and comfortable, cushioned altho not alot of arch support. My main complaint is that after wearing only a couple of times, the rubber sole that curves over the toe and heel is peeling off! Couldn't believe it! Hoping Gorilla Glue will hold it! Not expected at this price point.

This is my second time ordering this shoe. In most sneakers, I wear an 11 or European equivalent (Nike, New Balance, Golden Goose, etc). I had read on other reviews online that these run big, so I sized down to a 10.5 and originally bought through a different retailer. I had to return them because they were way too big and I found them wide from the ball area of my foot to the top of my toes. I just repurchased through Nordstrom and am anxious to see if the 10 fits when they arrive. Basically, I’m sizing down an entire shoe size. Also, when the pair arrived, they looked as advertised except for the tongue. I didn’t notice in the brand stock photos that they made a style choice to leave the foam in the tongue exposed. I think it cheapens the look of an otherwise cute shoe. I will say, my annoyance with the tongue has not stopped me from repurchasing the shoe. Overall, it’s a good looking shoe that is on trend and a nice alternative if you don’t want to have the Samba, Gazelle or Speedcat like everyone else. Obviously the Oasis is more expensive than those options and maybe overpriced given that exposed foam, but cute overall. Oh - also, I would not wear these in inclement weather or places where they could easily get dirty (salted sidewalks, puddles, muddy out, etc). I could tell with the pair I had to send back that the camel suede is going to easily pick up and show dirt. It doesn’t seem as durable as other suede shoes I have, from burgundy/wine colored heels and black bootie to my black Sorel boots that are a few years old and that I can wear in inclement weather, on salted sidewalks, in mud or puddles.

These are very cute - got them in the blush suede color. They are very comfortable and stylish. However, deciding if I will keep these due to the negative reviews about them falling apart. I did not notice in the pictures but the tongue has as unfinished edge that exposes the stuffing in the tongue. Would really not expect this with such an expensive shoe!!!
