Element Eight's O2 Growth Factor "Eight Active Cream" definitely feels like a prestigious, high-quality product. From the packaging it arrived in, to the canister dispensing the product, to the cream itself - it all felt very top-of-the-line, high class, and luxurious. I was impressed by the canister, until I realized it's somewhat of an illusion. I know the amount of product is listed on the bottle, but the appearance and size makes it seem like there is so much more inside. If you pop the top off, though, you'll find there's a tube located inside of the canister that is much smaller. I suppose it's good marketing, but it still feels deceiving. Especially considering the price. I also dislike the dispensing nozzle, as it doesn't allow for the cream to be released easily. There were a few times where I lost some product to the floor because I dispensed it too quickly and it just shot out. While trying to press it slowly, the product makes it onto my finger but also comes out a bit watery. Nobody likes wasted product or ruined product. Now, these may be trivial matters if the Eight Active Cream provides stunning results as promised. Does it? Honestly, my skin appears to be more smooth and supple after application. It definitely felt hydrated. The cream is a bit heavy, but I actually enjoyed the texture. Somehow it was heavy, but light and airy at the same time. It made my face feel like it was soft, without me even bringing my hand up to touch it and check. The cream is an orange-yellow color and I have fair/light colored skin, and it provides me with a bit of a glow most likely because of this. I've used it for a whole month now, and I can't say that I see any long-term, beneficial difference in my skin. The immediate results of supple, glowing skin last only for a few hours. Maybe 2 at best. I hate to bring up the price point again, but I think it's kind of a big deal when there are other, much more reasonably priced products out there which can help to achieve similar results (some with actual long-term effects, too). Although I do very much enjoy the way this cream feels on my skin, I have to leave it at 3 stars. It has a light smell to it, but it's nothing strong and it goes away almost immediately. So far I've noticed my skin feeling healthier and moisturized. Some of the fine lines I've had around my mouth seem like they're filling in a little which is crazy! The "smile" lines around my mouth are the thing I am most self-conscious about. I have tried everything out there topically and am amazed that this has had somewhat of an effect. So far I have been able to layer this with any other products or makeup I use with no adverse effect. I am really impressed with this cream and really look forward to more long-term results.

I have combination skin with concerns of dullness, unwanted texture as well as fine lines. My first impressions of this growth factor cream was that the package is lovely(box and bottle itself), the scent is strange but not unbearable and the color is off putting at first (it's very bright marigold) but thankfully it disappears into the skin and doesn't stain. This was great as a hydrating moisturizer, it was almost too moist but never did leave me feeling greasy(which is awesome for a combo/oily gal) and it does slowly absorb well into your skin. I didn't notice any benefits aside from maintaining great hydration on my skin, which would be fine in and of itself if it wasn't so expensive because at this price point I would expect more benefits, especially after four weeks of use. Perhaps paired with Element Eight's other products (serum specifically) it would really shine but honestly the cost of their entire skincare regimen would bankrupt me. So I would say if you can afford it it's a wonderful moisturizer but don't expect anything other than the benefits of moisturized skin and if you can splurge on their line of products go for it.
