Good Choice
I am 5'2.5" tall, weigh 149 lbs with a 35.5" waist and 42" hips--71 years old. I ordered the 8, 10 and 12 petite and kept the 10. The 8 fit slightly more snug than the 10 and the 12 way too big. I've worn them several times and they do stretch a bit,(but not too much) so glad I chose the 10. Also washed them with no harm done. Color is a great neutral choice. Very pleased with the fit, very flattering. The length is perfect. (I often find petite a bit short on me, but not the case here). I've ordered another pair in a different color.

Not Really Wide Leg
I was really hoping that these pants would be what I was looking for. Did not like these pants at all. Material was too stretchy for me and not "wide leg" as stated. I guess if you have pencil thin legs they would fit you. Sadly had to send them back.

Summer pants
I had three pairs,
the white fit fine all over
the blue were very tight, could not wear
the linen color are a combination, tight someplaces, loose someplaces
and other reviews say they stretch
How can a person know what to get?????????????

Beachy...but size up for a relaxed fit
This is a fabulous pant that is great for spring. Most of the reviews say to size down for a good fit. I went into the store and tried on 3 different sizes, 10, 12, and 14. If I wanted these pants to fit like a pair of jeans, I would have gone with the 10 or the 12. But, I really wanted the pants to fit like the picture on the website and catalog, loose and beachy so the fabric moves a bit. So, I went with the 14 (a size up from what I usually wear) and am going to have the wait brought in for a perfect fit. The sales lady said someone else had already done the same thing with these pants today. I think they will be perfect after the alteration. I would not recommend sizing down if you want these pants to fit like they do in the picture.

Perfect Summer Pant!
Very comfy! This linen blend is perfectly light-weight for everyday casual wear. These pants pair nicely with a Tee--see my review on the Halogen linen-blended Tees and also with a light weight linen-button down shirt (Eileen Fischer or Lafayette). For evening wear, all one has to do is find a light-weight silk or shantung and pair with strapped heeled sandals. Believe me when I say either look will be fabulous!!!

Casual fit!
I am 5'2", hips 44". Based on size chart, I'd wear 16 but ordered 14 as recommended to order a size down That's great with NYDJ jeans to order a size down but with stretch linen the fit is very loose (especially around stomach and hips), regardless I like the pants, very comfortable and will look for a belt. If I order NYDJ stretch linen, I'll probably (?) order a 12. LOVE the trousers made in USA!!!!

great fit
I tried these on in the store and loved the fit. They are very flattering and fit better on me than another well know designer brand that I love to wear.
Most linen pants, on me, make my back side look big. These linen pants actually make you look smaller.
I am not sizing up or down, as the size that I tried on in the store was snug but comfortable.
