Fabric Challenges

I'm delighted. The Hayley in a petite fits me perfectly, IN THIS FABRIC. Note, the cotton/poly/ and only 1% Spandex/Lycra. I bought this same style in the black, that has a 4% stretch, and they bagged out terribly after only one evening of sitting. Style-wise, this is the first pair that I've been pleased with that isn't a "Marilyn". I like, also, that they are lighter weight, so they dry faster. And, most of my petites are too long on my 5'2" frame, with flats. These are much better.

What happened to the sizing?

I've been wearing NYDJ for several years and ordered a pair of the Marilyn at the same time (same order as these) in the same size. I couldn't get these zipped up. I don't know if they cut them differently or if mine were somehow mis-sized, but I had to return them.

Great fit

I am 5 feet 1/4 inch and weight 120 pounds. I usually wear a 4p in NYDJ but they said to size down. I ordered a 0p and they fit great but...if you are over 5'2 you might find them short. I can wear a 2 inch wedge and they still look good but because they are one size down they may be shorter on you. I wish others would give their height and weight when giving a review. It really helps when ordering.

Too tight

While the jeans are the same great quality that NYDJ is known for, I found this particular style to be tighter than other styles I have purchased. I did not size down as recommended and I would advise others not to size down either.

GREAT

These are my all time favorite jeans! Love the fit and the color is awesome. This is my third pair that I have ordered. They look great with anything you wear.
