Marilyn Straight Leg Ponte Pants

Who knew pants could make you happy? For years my pants have only made me sad. They were always too tight in the waist and all day long I could feel my muffin top hanging over the waist band. These pants fit so well all over that I am excited to be wearing them and it shows in my overall demeanor. These pants are probably going to make me a better person! I will buy them in every color. They are my Happy Pants!

*Love* these pants for business casual or to go with a cute top to dinner! They are fitted on me in the thigh, but stretch in the waist while also supporting/flattening without suffocating (basically magic)! The shape is also wonderful to wear with a longer-ish blazer for work. I am 5'8" and the regular length is perfect on me. Because of the stretch in the fabric, I would size down one size (normally I am a size 14 in pants, but a 12 fits much better!)

I love these pants. They look good, even after wearing them on a long trip with lots of activity. No bagging, no excessive stretching, they are comfortable and classy. They fit casual and business casual occasions, just add accessories. I am 5 ft, 106#, wear a 00petite, although I have bought a regular 00. They both had to be hemmed, but given the fast, professional tailoring from Nordstrom, that was not a problem. I have 4 pairs!

These are SO soft and comfortable. However, as I’ve found with most NYDJs, they are form fitting. They are like another layer of skin on the thighs and then are looser from knees down. I prefer these types of pants to be a looser fit. If you don’t prefer a looser fit, these pants are for you! Soft, soft, soft and cute pattern.

I've always loved the way NYDJ slacks/jeans fit, but in the past year or so it has seemed like you have fewer and fewer petite selections. I like the slacks but would like more cotton and less elastic in the fabric, as well as petite sizes. I have to cut about 8 inches off the bottom so they will fit!
