Marilyn Ankle Straight Leg Jeans

Always size down when you buy NYDJ. A size 16 is always a bit too snug for me in other brands, so that’s what I ordered for these and they fit perfectly. I was worried they’d stretch out too much as I wore them but they don’t. They sort of relax a teeny tiny bit at first but they do not lose their shape. You don’t have to wash them after every wear to get the shape back because they don’t continue to stretch out as you wear them. I love the cut. They aren’t too snug in the thighs and even tho I have very large calves they aren’t overly snug there either, especially after wearing them for a few days. I have a hard time finding straight leg jeans that don’t look baggy or make me look squatty, and I don’t usually have good luck with NYDJ but I took a chance and was ecstatic when these fit so well. I’m 5’4 so I bought the 29” ankle length to wear as a full length jean and they fall exactly where I need them to when I’m wearing shoes. I think this would be a perfect length for anyone who is 5’3 to 5’4, and maybe 5’5 if you have very short legs.
