High Waist Ankle Relaxed Straight Leg Jeans

These jeans are a very odd length. Generally, ankle length jeans hit me just above the ankle. These are hovering over the tops of my feet. The inseam is definitely longer than described, but they’re not long enough to be full length. I’m debating whether to pay to have them hemmed or just return. On the plus side, they’re very soft and comfy. I do think they run a bit large, so if you’re on the fence about sizing I would go down one.

I’m 5”1 and these fit me like a short seemed pair of jeans. I expected that, it saved me a hemming fee. But I thought others would want to know. Also this is definitely running large. If you order your regular size you will have lots of room. I don’t know if I can recommend going down a size for sure, but I will order a size down and see what happens. I did not feel any kind of stomach compression…. But again, maybe it’s because this fit runs big around the waistline.

The above the knee and knee area on these pants blouse outward and look a bit like jodhoppers. I'm a size 14, 175, 5'6" and they otherwise fit perfectly. The hem hit at the top of my shoes, even though they're called ankle pants. This is the perfect length for me. I was going to have them altered in the blousy knee area, but it would've cost me another $22. I sadly returned them.
