I have the spray on leave in conditioner in this range and as the SpaceNK sale was on I bought this mousse which provides both hold and some conditioner, but crucially for my fine hair, not too much conditioner. I love that it’s a two in one, I can shampoo and put this on for a natural look with pins, or a blow dry.

I ordered this as a "free full size product" offer - a product I wouldn't normally have considered. Wow, am I ever glad I did! This one product will stand in place of three other products in my effort to achieve volume, hold, and frizz control. I know that it's supposed to be ideal for medium/thick hair, but it works beautifully on my fine, somewhat thin hair. It holds my round-brush styling all day, making my hair shiny and full of volume.

A stylist recommended this foam to me. I pointed out that the bottle said it was for medium to coarse hair, but she said it was lightweight and would cast. Wrong. I have fine, low porosity hair. The first time I used it with the Nutriplenish leave-in on clean, freshly washed hair, and my curls were bouncy, juicy and defined. Frizz was kept to a minimum. I live in Atlanta, though, and I did not test this in the summer humidity. I suspect it will need a stronger hold product on top for strong humidity, even if you have medium to coarse hair. My ends were a little frayed, so I used a couple small pumps of the Nutriplenish oil to smooth the ends. It looked great and did not weigh down my hair at all. There was no hold, however. The next morning to refresh, I layered the Nutriplenish gel on top of damp hair, and my hair looked awful and turned into a crunchy, waxy, tangled mess with a ton of build-up. Overall, I think this is a fabulous product, but if you have fine hair you might struggle. To get a cast you need to use a lot, and that weighs down fine hair and caused build up for me. But for the right hair type, it's great! The smell is okay and fades.

I am a phomollient user and have used it for many years so I purchased the nutriplenish version ai I thought it would be a similar item but I am afraid thus one is not for me after giving it several chances I am not sure its what I thought as it tends to keve my thick natural curly hair very unmanageable and sticky I won't be purchasing again I will stick to my phomollient.
