My favorite carseat ever!
Absolutely love this Nuna carseat. This is our second one and it is my favorite carseat! It is more expensive than many other brands but once you buy it you will understand why. The fabric is so soft and pretty, the install is the easiest by far, and my toddler is comfortable and safe. We had a wreck with the impact on the door where this carseat was installed, it didnt budge, my daughter didnt even realize we had been hit. So worth the money and peace of mind!

Was planning on purchasing this week, UNTIL I saw that they just raised the price overnight by $100 and listed it as " New ". In the middle of the year?? Come on now. That's insane.

Terrible Update
This is the second Rava I have purchased. I absolutely love the first one we have (purchased in February 2024) so I was excited to purchase another. I am highly disappointed with the update Nuna made to the harness adjustment button regarding the cover. The previous model had no cover which was my favorite part. This new update is almost unusable is rear facing mode. To get your hand in the slot, it is incredibly challenging and painful. Not only is this feature terrible for rear facing, they’re also encouraging rear facing longer (which I love btw), by raising the forward facing requirements. This is completely unacceptable for a car seat at this price point.
I really love our current Rava and wanted to love this one too, unfortunately we will be returning. In the picture you will see the one purchased in February (closest) as well as the one purchased last week during the sale. They’re identical in every way except for the harness adjustment area.
I’m giving 2 stars because the materials and quality are still nice.

Mixed Feelings
We have other Nina products we are pretty happy with and I was expecting the same with this product. However the “upgrade” of the covered strap release in between the legs is an AWFUL design feature. When the seat is installed rear facing you are stuck fiddling your fingers awkwardly into a constricted hole with no clear indicator where to press in order to get more slack from the harness. I’m so surprised they did not get proper feedback about this issue before releasing a so called upgraded product. I can’t be the only parent who feels this way.

I purchased this curated version during a sale and I am beyond disappointed in the quality of it vs my son’s Rava that is the all black. The material is so cheap it’s thin and doesn’t stay in place and the belt latch cushion constantly comes off. I should’ve just paid full price on the Nuna website for an original one!

WAS a great seat- buyer beware
We own 3 Nuna Ravas all purchased from
Nordstrom. 2 seats have been affected by the recall. The remedy kit provided by Nuna is a joke making the harness adjuster impossible to access. I also don’t trust that the seat is safe to use because Nuna refuses to provide any updated crash test reports. We have 1 seat that is newer and not affected by the recall. It’s incredibly shady that Nuna clearly knew about the issues with the recalled seats long before they issued a recall. Long enough to completely change the design. It should be known that Nuna as a brand has DEPLORABLE customer service. Like if your seat ever has an issue (not just affected by the recall), they will do everything not to help you or provide a replacement. For a brand that is so expensive, this is incredibly disappointing. I wouldn’t have spent this much on a car seat had I known I would have to replace it in less than 3 years. Nordstroms also refused to help at all which was disappointing. I personally will never buy another Nuna product or recommend Nuna to any friends or family. The customer service with Uppababy is night and day difference for the record. I suggest thinking long and hard about the company you are supporting when you purchase a Nuna product.

Strap redesign is the worst!
I bought the same Nuna in Anniversary sale for 2023 and 2024. The only difference is the redesign of the spot to tighten and loosen the straps. Why they would ever redesign this is beyond me! The 2023 was the best way! I loved it! I would have redesigned the crotch pad to be tighter cause it constantly falls off then ever switching this. The new pocket style is aweful to get to with seat being rear facing. You almost can’t reach the button with your fingers! I was putting new seat in my car and the old Rava in my husbands car but with this new design flaw i will happily take the old seat back in my car!
