Nourishing Night Cream

I started using this when my skin barrier felt a bit compromised, and it’s been amazing overnight. It’s rich but not suffocating, and I wake up with that plump, rested look even if I haven’t slept enough. I’m 26 with combination skin and was worried it might be too heavy, but it balances everything out beautifully. My skin feels calmer and less reactive in the mornings. It layers well over serums and doesn’t cause congestion. It’s the kind of night cream that makes you look like you drink more water than you actually do.

I have fairly recently started using Susanne Kaufman products. This night cream is fairly thick in texture and could not be used as a day moisturiser. That said, it sinks in quickly leaving no white residue and is still doing its work the next morning. Less keen on the scent though, slightly medicinal in my opinion.

And I have very dry skin. I use this cream as my “sealer” before bed since this is the thickest cream I use it goes on last and keeps my skin bouncy and glowing. I always try to look like a glazed donut before bed and this does the job! Love it! Love that there Isn’t a strong smell and it’s made of natural ingredients. Easy pump bottle, two pumps per use for me. Will buy again.

I normally don't write reviews but this product merits the effort. For context, I'm 45 with dry skin and a few lines. The cream is more like a thick old fashioned suntan cream in texture and needs to be patted in rather than slicked on and can definitely only be used as a night cream as it takes a little time to sink in and is a bit shiny. That said, this is a deeply effective product that clearly works even the day afterward and halfway through the bottle I know I'll be buying it again in repeat. A little of this product also goes a very long way. The fragrance is light and pleasant and my skin is clearly softer and more deeply moisturised as a result of consistent use.
