Washable Matte Silk Pajamas

I bought the pink color and was really excited to wear these. However, if you have anything other than lightest shade of nipples, they will likely show through on this pink silk. Nordstrom, please be more inclusive of skin tones, don’t relegate us to wearing black, gray or navy, and be thoughtful that nipples can also get darker and change color after having a baby or with age! Including a second layer, a silk lining, or possibly thicker silk in the chest area would have done the trick but instead I need to return the beautiful pink color and get a darker one instead.

Where is your quality control, Nordstrom? The first time I ordered these pajamas I got a medium top and a large bottom. The second time I ordered them, they had clearly been worn. There were stains around the hem. There was something whitish and other stains on the top. The elbows were crinkled like they had been worn and worst of all the crotch was all wrinkled and soiled. Someone needs to take quality control more seriously. I realize that when there is only one left after there have been none for a few days that there is a good chance that it is a return. But this is totally unacceptable. When I called them to tell them, they said they would offer me dry cleaning. Ugh. Buying a new pair of silk pajamas that has been used? Gross! Obviously, they are going back.

This feels like pure luxury to me! I have never owned silk pajamas and always shy’d away due to the price point of 100% silk. I purchased a satin pajama set from Victoria’s Secret and was so disappointed on how it feels on my skin. So when I found these in store in the anniversary sale, I seriously did not want to take them off :) The grey plum colour is gorgeous and almost like a mauve shade in my opinion. I am so in love with them and excited to sleep in them. They do run big. I’m usually a S/M in pajamas and I was between an XS/S in these.

I absolutely love these pjs so much! I bought three pairs! I bought, black, pink and hot pink. You can not pass these up, they feel so good after you shower and get ready for bed. I feel like a princess every time i put them on. Highly recommend ! Also, silk is breathable and never too hot or too cold so definitely recommend these to everyone.
