Not for sleeping
It is not meant to be tight to the body but even so it has ample room! Enough so that I sized down one and possibly should’ve gone down two sizes. It has pockets, no stretch in the material, feels soft, almost like Pima cotton but not quite. I cannot imagine sleeping in it but poking round in my private garden, after the pool, sofa after a long hot day. It’s feminine and sweet with the poofs but not overly sweet. I do think the striped pink would be however. I’m pale blonde with blue eyes and I love the blue that I ordered

darling but runs huge
I am nine months pregnant, 5’9 and 195 pounds right now. I ordered a medium and it’s still huge. I don’t mind because the design is darling and I want it to be loose, but just be aware that the sizing is way off. Before pregnancy I was a size 10, 170 lbs and medium would have been way too large. I purchased the blue, and it’s cute enough that I can wear it as a lightweight summer dress.

Cute, but so huge!
I was looking forward to receiving this cotton nightgown. The gown looks so pretty on the model; however, everything looks great on that particular model. I ordered a medium which is the size I usually order. I am 5’2” and approximately 135lbs. When I tried on the gown before adjusting the neckline, the neckline of the gown fell to my hips. I adjusted the neck and although the fit was a little better, it was still huge—so much extra fabric. I felt as though I was wrapped in a sheet. The poof sleeves fell past my elbows and the length was almost to the bottom of my knees. I do like the fabric, color, and that there are 2 nice pockets! Yay for pockets! I do hope the nightgown will shrink to the size I’d like it to be. Maybe I should have ordered a size smaller. If you’re on the fence. I’d suggest to order a size smaller.

So rough!
I bought this thinking it would be a soft cotton nightgown. Unfortunately, it is far too big, but most importantly, it is so rough on the skin. The problem is with the thread that is used to stitch the seams together. It is so itchy that I had to take it off. I am not sure if washing will fix it, but I am not about to try that. I plan to return this.
