Different, but still seem good

I have many pairs of the Nordstrom moonlight pjs. They have changed. The fabric is still very soft, but seems more polished (for lack of a better term). I don't know if they changed because some prints seemed to fade/pill badly in the past? Also, I have always been a small in these with plenty of room. Oftentimes they were too long and I'm 5'6" with long legs, so that was odd for me. However, these are shorter...noticeably...and while the small fits, it is considerably smaller. So much so that I'm glad I also ordered a medium and I will be going with that size this year. I prefer a relaxed fit and have athletic thighs, so it will likely very much depend on body type and preference. I am anxious to see how they hold up and how they feel to actually sleep in, but so far, I like them. Wanted to go ahead and leave a review for those ordering this year in terms of fit.

New fabric, smaller than the original.

Nordstrom is changing the fabric on their Moonlight Pajamas to this Eco material. It is almost the same as the previous, this fabric just has more of a brushed feel to it, overall very nice, and most won't notice the difference. The only thing is I have always worn a large in the Moonlight pajamas but whatever they have done, the large top on this new Eco pajama was tight in the chest area and pulled across the bust, really pulling at the buttons. So much so I had to send it back. Thank goodness I also ordered one of the originals on clearance which was perfect as normal. Hopefully, they will check into this and get it fixed so that they fit like the originals which I love, I have worn these for years.

changed material

They used to be 95% modal and 5% spandex. These were my favorite pajamas. Now they are 91% tencel modal and 9% spandex. They fit smaller and shrink easier than the others. Bought a couple of pairs on sale, but these are not as good and won’t be purchasing more.

Soft but buttons do not stay closed

I love how soft and comfortable the pajamas are. They have lasted through multiple washes and the color has not faded. Only negative is that the buttons do not stay closed and become undone all of the time. If that issue was fixed, I would order more of these for sure.

Fabulous PJ’s!

Love these jammies! So soft and comfortable. I did not find them to run small, as some stated. Length is great too. Will definitely be buying more patterns! 5’5” - 120 lbs
