It's a well finished belt with a subtle buckle. 1 3/8" width is hard to find so I am happy that Nordstrom had this in stock. Even better, it was on sale.

When I want quality men’s clothing I go to Nordstrom. Unfortunately this belt does not measure up the what I expect from them. White strings come out and make the belt look cheap.

Please Stop Selling Junk
Please, Nordstrom, return to carrying only quality goods. Finish is wearing off this belt after maybe 15 wearings. I have black and light brown “Nordstrom” belts purchased a year or so ago and they’ve been great. Will return.

Terrible quality
Purchased for my husband. Has not even been a year and it’s unraveled and broken. Cheap quality, but not cheap price point. Very disappointed.

Quality- yes. Width- not quite
As everyone else noted, this is a beautiful belt, but it is incorrectly advertised as 1 3/4" wide. I don't have a measuring tape handy but held it up to a 1 1 /2" belt and it was slimmer by a good bit. I would guess the measurement is 1 1/4". My personal collection has so many belts of this size, and I was hoping this higher-quality belt would be wider and bolder. If this isn't an issue for you, I expect you'll be quite satisfied.
