Drop Waist Button Front Cotton Midi Dress

I get so many compliments when I wear this dress. The poplin fabric feels very high quality and there’s no skimping on fabric — it’s really got that full skirt feel. And yes — it has pockets! I recommend belting the dress as the waist ran a tiny bit big for me (normally a Small and I got a Small). This is great for the office and any sort of daytime events, especially with the right fun sandals or heels and accessories. I can’t speak to the white, I got the light brown and white striped style so it would be more opaque and it is. Highly recommend!

I'm 5'9" tall, about 185#s and usually between 8/10/12 sizes. So I ordered a large and almost returned because I felt I was swimming in it. The skirt is very full with material, it has nice room in the bust without the buttons pulling (wear a dd cup) but the waist felt so big and unflattering. I almost returned it, however I decided to try with a belt to cinch the waist a bit and it was just the fix needed. It's casual and fun, while still being professional to wear to the office in summer time. Overall very happy with the purchase, but feel it could be a bit more shapely. Perhaps would recommend sizing down.

I really appreciated the quality of this dress. Fabric is exceptional. It is actually true to size. Unfortunately I ordered a size Large even tho I'm most often a size Medium. But other reviewers noted the dress was tight in bodice. This was not the case for me. I wear size 34 or 36 DD bra. Large dress was aprox 2" too big on top & even tho it's a drop, not a fitted waist, it was also too full in waist. Also, I'm 5'3" and the Large dress comes just above my ankles. It sort of drown me! Size Med would be perfect! but unfortunately none are now available.

This dress looked loose so I ordered a small. I go between a medium and a small at 5'1" and about 128 pounds. I wear a 34C and the top fit well and was not tight. The fabric is really nice cotton and the short sleeve provides just enough coverage. It was very long for me, to my ankles. I had to cut off about 7 inches and hem it. I got the navy stripe and it is a very dark navy, almost black. It looks great with my dark wash jeans jacket.
