Cotton Shirting Nightgown

I bought this at the Anniversary sale. It runs huge! I normally would get a medium and the extra small was perfect. It is the most comfortable summer nightgown I have ever owned. It is so cute that if it was not white, I would be tempted to wear it out and about. It is a little sheer but not see through. In the heat of summer, this is exactly what you want to sleep in!

If you typically wear a medium or or large, buy the small. You will LOVE it. I typically wear a size small, but for this particular design, I would definitely need an XS or even XXS—it runs huge. I have broad shoulders, and even so, the straps barely stay on. Unless I’m alone or just with my husband, I have to move very carefully to avoid an accidental wardrobe malfunction. There’s no way the nightgown fits the model without being pinned or taped in place. That said, the fabric is beautifully soft and luxurious—perfect for sensitive skin. It’s incredibly lightweight and breathable, making it ideal for hot summer nights. With a bit of tailoring (I’m planning to have the armholes taken in), I think I’ll be living in it for the rest of the season. If you’re buying this for private lounging or romantic evenings, it’s a dream—but definitely size down and consider alterations if you want a more secure fit.

This night dress runs BIG. I normally buy XL and decided to get Large for this gown. Honestly I could’ve got a medium. I’m not complaining, I think the large is perfect. It’s so flowy and comfortable and it has pockets. I wish you’d make more colors and PLEASE keep it cotton. Been trying to replace all my sleep wear with real cotton.
