Cotton Shirting Nightgown

This night dress runs BIG. I normally buy XL and decided to get Large for this gown. Honestly I could’ve got a medium. I’m not complaining, I think the large is perfect. It’s so flowy and comfortable and it has pockets. I wish you’d make more colors and PLEASE keep it cotton. Been trying to replace all my sleep wear with real cotton.

I like to go up a size with nightgowns, so I chose a large when I'm usually a medium in regular clothes. This does run pretty large, but I like that slightly oversized fit. I also washed it in tap cold water and hung it to dry last night and it shrunk everrr so slightly. So, if you are between sizes or you're like me and like extra room in a nightgown like this, just something to consider. The fabrication is soft and crisp at the same time. It is a bit longer on me than the pictures, but I am 5'4" so that was expected. But, the shoulder straps stay put and don't fall down on me and the armpit is high enough that it doesn't look too big, overall. Perfect for summer (or year round in a warmer climate). The gingham is adorable. So glad I got it!

I bought my normal size (M) and the fit is large. I would recommend sizing down one size. For comtext, I am 5'5 140 lbs. I reordered size small because this one is a keeper.

Overall this is a nice nightgown—design, fabric quality. But it’s massively oversized. Like not in a comfortable, good way. I usually wear L/XL in most clothes and the large was way too big throughout. Check the fit at the underarms/chest when you try it. I didn’t have the energy to grab a smaller size and do another round of try ons. Also the navy gingham print is cute on its own, but combined with the style, I felt like I was the coal miner’s daughter wearing a potato sack. The thick straps were nice though.

I bought this at the Anniversary sale. It runs huge! I normally would get a medium and the extra small was perfect. It is the most comfortable summer nightgown I have ever owned. It is so cute that if it was not white, I would be tempted to wear it out and about. It is a little sheer but not see through. In the heat of summer, this is exactly what you want to sleep in!

It is a great cotton nightgown. The fabric is soft and of quality; the small detail buttons give the gown an elevated look, but unfortunately, it runs big. I am always a medium on blouses and dresses, but with this gown, the arm holes are pretty wide
