Super Soft Baby Lotion

I bought this because i was impressed this was given mostly 5 stars by the consumers. My baby is 3 months old, with no problematic skin, like we can use any brands of diapers, wipes and lotions and he wont have any reaction at all. But my baby’s skin on his legs, upper arms and face is dry. Not eczema type, just dry skin. I bought almost all brands of baby lotion—from organic to the most expensive one, but my baby still would have dry areas on his skin. Upon opening this lotion— i already can smell the fragrance—too strong for the baby— nonetheless i still applied it because i needed to check if the lotion is effective. Upon applying it, i am impressed— baby’s skin becomes very soft and moisturized. I fell in love with it even tho the fragrance hurts even my nose. But as hours go by, i noticed that my baby’s skin is starting to get dry again, the flakiness on his face is starting to show again. I realized, it only makes the superficial layers soft and smooth, but it won’t resolve baby’s skin dryness, the lotion doesn’t get absorbed within the layers of the skin. I still use the lotion until now bec the product is not cheap, so i might as well just use it. iv been using this for 2 weeks now. My dilemma is i cannot apply multiple layers of this lotion throughout the day bec of its strong fragrance and applying lotion over and over to my baby’s skin made my baby sneeze a lot. Im quite disappointed with this product.
