Nolita Small Convertible Backpack

Too many straps! The back pack straps have hooks at the bottom, but are sewn in at the top. What is the point of the hooks? You cannot remove the handles or the backpack strap if you want to use the cross body strap. If I use the cross body strap, I have the handles and the backpack straps - all three! sets of straps - flapping around. I cannot use this bag and it is sadly too late to return. I am thinking about how to cut the handle straps off to at least eliminate one of the 3 sets of straps.

I REALLY wanted to like this and overall I did. The main problem is the weight and it was too big for my purposes. I haven’t used been searching for a backpack purse for a while now because I have terrible neck and back problems and my Baggallini crossbody hobo bag would be perfect for me if it were in backpack form. I love all of the pockets! I am all about the pockets. I was disappointed that there were RFID credit card slots but I haven’t really much luck with Bagallini in that department. There is a RFID pocket inside that fit my huge android phone. I got the blue because it was discounted, but it’s not my style. It is pretty though. The material is great and it’s a very sturdy convertible purse but that is the bit of the downfall for me because that’s where the weight came from along with the actual backpack straps. The straps for the backpack would be comfortable but they didn’t give them enough slack so you don’t have enough leeway to get them on. I did appreciate that they were padded which one of the main factors I was looking for so it would not cause me any pain. The handles for the tote were nice and seemed like would be sturdy enough for a heavier load. Overall, I would recommend it to someone who needs to carry a lot but it could be too heavy for someone who has a hypermobility issue like me or any kind of of back or neck issues.

There is a place for everything you will need to carry, whether you use the bag for work or travel. I especially like the ease of carrying it as a backpack! You will not be disappointed if you purchase this bag.
