Incredibly comfortable if you have patience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first pair had a piece of the Lactae Hevea heel coming off after just 3 days of wearing them indoors to break them in. Sent them back, got a replacement pair that seemed already broken in and it is truly what I was hoping from the beginning: a good looking shoe that is a workhorse with amazing comfort for very long days spent on my feet - I don't take 2 pairs of shoes with me when I travel and these look like they can handle the heavy usage. The other dress shoe brands that I have are Samuel Hubbard and Ferragamo and these are equally comfortable. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I am not going to comment on that - it does work for me as I bought them. Will update this once I have a big travel completed.

Comfort all day long

That being aside, given the price (a bit pricy), the most important items for me are comfort, and quality. Well they hit the mark on both. I wore them all day on day one and walked around San Francisco, The feet felt great at the end of the day. I wish the web -site would recommend the polish color during check out, based on my color selection. MADE IN THE USA!

Great Fit and Quality but Creaky

I love everything about these shoes except they creak loudly when I walk in them. It doesn’t sound like it is from the sole. Rather, it sounds like it is the leather. People say they hear me coming from many feet away. Why would they do that? I haven’t experienced this before with Trickers, Whites Boots, Frye boots, etc.

Amazing shoes!

The wait was well worth it. The shoes are beautiful and comfortable. The leather is unmatched and the crafts people making the shoes put a lot of love into them. I love also how the are recraftible meaning they will last for a very long time.
