Well Made, Comfortable & Attractive Sandals
I have worn many pairs of huaraches over many years always with old tires for soles with leather strap uppers. Still have a couple of pairs, repairing and oiling the leather over the years. BUT, I have always wanted a pair made with quality materials; now finally have a pair. Well-made, attractive, and comfortable. Too cold now to wear outside but know when summer returns I will wear frequently to dressy-up places. My old huaraches I will continue to wear to the beach. Highly recommend !

So now these designers are stealing from indigenous people. You could literally get these type of shoes in a Mexican store or get them from a small Mexican business

Order True Size
The sandals are very nice and seem to be great quality. I’m a size 9 per Brannock device and so I ordered 1/2 size down per the recommendation, but they were way too tight. I will be exchanging for my normal size. I’d recommend ordering your true size first and then determine if sizing up or down is necessary.

Do not run large
I bought the size 8 for my husband because the size info indicated this shoe runs large. Quite the contrary.....He wears an 8 1/2 so I returned the 8 and bought him 8.5. He said he thought he might need a 9 but we were worried they would stretch out and be too big. I am wearing them to break them in for him. I would recommend to start with your true size, you may want to order 1/2 size larger, not smaller.
Shoes are great, it was just a size issue.

A Bit Wide
Contrary to a couple other reviews, these sandals are a great style. They look great on and are perfect for the pool deck. Not so sure why everyone has to be so sensitive… it’s a sandal… Regardless, I’m content with my purchase but unfortunately I must size a half size down due to a wide fit. I’m assuming they will stretch with wear so I’d rather go down a half size than have a pair that ends up feeling far too loose.
