Customer service through “chat” text messages was horrific. I was repeatedly told to wait additional lengths of time, and given various excuses before anything could be done about an order that was obviously missing. I explained that I needed the shoe for my engagement pictures and I had concerns that it would arrive in time. I ordered the shoe at the end of march and the only tracking info that was available was a label being created, a week later. I was given multiple excuses from customer service that it’s possible the item was not being scanned at zones and I had to wait up to 9 business days to get something done, since it was possible that the item could just wind up on my doorstep. I ended up calling the number to actually speak to a customer service rep and they provided more helpful information. Maybe get rid of your chat text option, or retrain your reps, because I was given very different information between the “chat” through text option, and the phone calls. Finally, my item was reordered and it arrived in a timely manner. If I had only used the texting option for customer service, I would never think to purchase from Nordstroms online again. It was an infuriating experience.
