Nina Bow Back Long Sleeve Corset Minidress

Okay, in theory, very cute—feels sexy and stylish and young. In practice, the fit is definitely for someone with a longer torso (or wide shoulders maybe) because the shoulders would absolutely not stay up. The sizing is also kinda nuts. I’ve tried on a million things from Nordstrom various designers and can reliably order S for fitted and M for comfortable, but have now learned my lesson that House of CB runs small comparatively. I had to order this in Large after the Medium felt like it was going to crush my ribs. And then the shoulders on both M and L were just weeping off me. I doubt even ample fashion tape would be enough to secure them. The sleeves are also crazy tight in both sizes, though admittedly I do have bigger arms despite my overall small stature. Anyway t’was a miss for me, though the color is stunning and the hips are fun.

Lupe was super helpful and nice!! I showed her the dress from the website and she hadn’t seen it on the floor in awhile but went in the back and found an XS & a S!! The XS was small in my arms and it couldn’t zip but the A-C regular length fit PERFECTLY!! Ahhhh! So excited to wear this for my premiere !!
