Sportswear Phoenix Cozy Bouclé Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cutest shorts ever! I love the length of these shorts, its not too long and not to short. One day I paired them with a tank top and Nike Sneakers, another day I paired them with my favorite Nike hoodie. The shorts fit comfortably around your waist, so you don't have to adjust throughout the day. The soft, thick material is really breathable and comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of Nike sportswear and casual wear. Unfortunately these Cozy knit shorts are not for me. I only wear shorts when it’s warm. Since I’m very sensitive to the cold I can only wear sweatpants when it gets chilly. Warm shorts are not for me. Honestly I didn’t like anything about these shorts. The fit is too weird for me. The fabric is synthetic and feels too toasty without actually keeping me warm. I didn’t understand the pattern either. I am a big fan of natural fibers and can only justify synthetic clothes for working out. Other than that I go for linen, cotton and silk. The fit is oversized but stays on. I don’t think my hips are very narrow, but I’m definitely not curvy. Maybe the shorts would look better on someone curvier?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my spare time I like to play basketball and I thought these shorts would be a great addition to my basketball gear. Not a chance! The shorts feel super super soft like a luxury bath towel, not a fan of that. With the bath towel look and feel I wouldn’t wear these in public. There’s no elastic band for the waist so I cannot put anything weighted in the pockets because the shorts will fall to my ankles. Love the Nike swish symbol design on the shorts but I would recommend they put it on some regular basketball shorts fabric.

You can literally wear them in the house to lounge in or create a nice chic look with some long boots to step out in the fall weather. These shorts are indeed soft and have enough stretch that I would recommend going down a size. The color is a classic with the cream tones which gives it a retro look. These shorts are the perfect length as they sit just above the knee. I definitely these shorts but they are pretty roomy so I would size down if you’re looking for a more snug fit.

The material feels like nothing I’ve ever felt in this style of shorts. At first, I was unsure what I was going to wear them with and then I noticed the length. Their length provides versatility…not too short or long. I now knew I had some styling flexibility and that these shorts could be dressed up or down. I was able to pair them with a simple t-shirt for a relaxed and casual look. When out shopping, I got so many compliments. People were amazed by the look and asked questions about the material. The only drawback, I’ve noticed, is that these shorts do not have a drawstring. I feel a drawstring would provide that next level of convenience and versatility for additional styling. Overall though, I love the look, feel, and versatility of these shorts and know they will be worn during my many occasions.
