Pro Active Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the style of the shorts! I really liked how the inner lining fit securely around my thighs and the loose fit of the short overall. They look great and move well with the body during gym workouts, walks and runs. Only thing was the waist band started to stretch and fit a little loosely. I have a smaller waist and larger bottom half so that probably played a role in the fit also. Overall I'd recommend.

They are sweat wicking and quick drying making them great for going from one activity to the next. The biker short liner adds extra support and light compression while the outer layer makes them feel airy and breathable. Love these shorts!

I love that they have the look of a traditional running short while also featuring a fitted inner layer that helps with movement and modesty. The materials feel great, and they do a nice job of keeping me comfortable and dry during workouts while still allowing for plenty of movement. The downside is that the inner shorts don't seem to stay in place. I'm not sure if it's a sizing issue or something else, but they tend to bunch up as I move. This creates an awkward situation where I either have to stop and adjust them or deal with the discomfort of the fabric riding up into the groin area. The tricky part is that the shorts fit perfectly in the waist and length, so I'm hesitant to size up. My concern is that a larger size would be too loose and take away some of the benefits of the design. Overall, I still wear these for workouts, but I tend to choose them for activities that involve mostly cardio or staying upright. The bunching issue is more noticeable when I'm using machines or frequently moving between sitting and standing positions. That said, they pair well with just about anything, and I love the classic Nike styling and colors.

Nothing shows through, sweat stays managed, and the added compression is a bonus. However, the spandex runs about a size too small. The shorts themselves fit perfectly, but the built-in spandex felt noticeably tight. Sizing up might solve that problem, though I’d worry about how the outer short would then fit. For reference, I own several pairs of Nike Pro spandex that fit me well, so the issue seems specific to how the spandex is sized relative to the short. The two don’t scale together the way you’d hope. On the plus side, the fabric is a standout. It feels cooling against the skin and has great airflow. I also love the versatility. These work just as well for a workout as they do running errands or styling casually. I’m hoping the sizing gets figured out because if they fit right, I’d want to own several pairs
