Oversize Hoodie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 14 year old son. He’s tall, skinny and lanky with most of his height in his legs. The material of this hoodie is extremely soft and comfortable. The “tech” style is in style and gives him warmth when needed but not over heated. Also cool enough to wear in the warmer months. My one complaint is that this fits more short and wide. He has plenty of room but the hoodie seems to barely hit his pant line. It seems more of a cropped fit, and we couldn’t do any bigger or it’d be ridiculously baggy on him. So a little more length and this would be perfect! Overall though we really like it.

It’s obvious that Nike copied Ye*zy with this collection. Basically the exact same style except they added pockets to the pants and an extra pocket to the hoodie. Only trouble is the oversized hits well in all areas except that it ends at the length. That said, if you want the length right, definitely size up. This seems to be a common issue when Nike says “oversized fit” versus “loose fit”—which seems to hit correctly on length. Great hoodie overall. Love how it keeps its shape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear this hoodie almost every day now. The material is thick, warm, and super comfortable without feeling heavy. The material is somewhat like a scuba material but much softer. The oversized fit gives it a relaxed look, which is just my vibe.While it’s not fitted, it still looks put together and not overly baggy. My hoodie is a size small but could’ve gone with an extra small and still have it oversized but more fitted. I really like the zip pocket—it keeps my phone and keys secure when I’m out. I’m not one for large logos plastered on my clothes, but the Nike Tech Logo printed slanted on the sleeves is a subtle touch. The only downside is mine came with a small hole on the sleeve near the stitching, but other than that the quality feels solid and the hoodie definitely elevates my everyday style.

Even though it’s called “fleece,” the outside material is a soft, smooth polyester that would be typical of an athletic shirt, not the “fleece” I normally think of. Since it’s so warm I usually would only wear it for a few minutes at a time inside the house, but during our below-zero winters I’m sure I will wear it more. I’m a female who typically wears size S/M so I got this hoodie in an XS and I will say it’s definitely made for a male; it’s baggy and the sleeve holes are larger than I expected. The length of the sleeves is perfect for me. One of my favorite features of this sweatshirt is the pocket in the front - not only does it have the traditional hoodie pocket but it also has a zipper pocket that perfectly fits my cell phone. The hood is especially large on this hoodie, when I put it up and turn my head to the side you can’t even see my face. Overall, the fabric is very comfortable and warm and I would recommend it for someone who spends time outside in the cold but doesn’t like wearing a lot of layers. This is a good option for someone who loves oversized sweatshirts. If I could change anything I would make the sleeve holes a little smaller.
