This 3rd one Isn't the Charm
Note: This review is specifically for the Black/White/Univ. Red colorway pair of Lebron 17s. These are my 3rd pair of Lebron 17s, hence the title. I have had these for about 10 months and I thought to wait and give the shoes a chance of breaking in/getting better before rushing into writing a review that may be scathing.
Pros:
They are sturdy, durable and of course, they look extremely great under any circumstance - casual/fashionable wear or on the court.
Cons:
In stark contrast to the other Lebron 17 designs that I own, they are pretty uncomfortable to wear for medium- to extended periods of time, especially because of the stiff upper part, and the stiff faux tongue that is included in this design but absent in others. This inflexible upper area causes bunching on the instep, which cuts into the wearer's feet and causes pain when walking, running or jumping, and also deformation of the shoes.
Also, the laces are a bit of a hassle to deal with in comparison to others in the same line.
Certainly they look great but I am a giving a low rating because what are great looking shoes that are uncomfortable to do the most basic - walk - in?

Major flaw
Only didn’t give one for how good they look but the lacing system is complletly Biden under a serious of Wide straps .. so you have to wrestle with it blindly and contort your fingers awkwardly just to loosen and tighten.. spent 15 minutes trying still can’t get them loose ..

Nike Lebron 17
The LeBron 17 is an excellent performer. The Cushion is amazing, the material is really high quality, a soft knit. Traction however took a long time to break in but when it did it was amazing as well. It sits very high off the ground, court-feel isn't the greatest but its good enough. Stability is compromised by how high it is but its adequate. However do not take these outdoors, the rubber is very soft, thick, but soft.
