Materials not made for an active kid
My daughter liked them because they are bouncy and she loves to jump. Parents didn't like them so much. One of the shoes is already ripped on the top- inside after barely 3 months. At 4 months, the laces broke as well. Clearly these are not made for an active kid. The price doesn't reflect the durability and material quality and I can't seem to put my mind into buying expensive shoes to last only few months.

Hard to put on
These shoes are very cute, however they are near impossible to get on. The back has no “give” to it. It’s too rigid for the heel to slide down. The no tie design is great for the kindergartener in our family but due to the back of the shoe being so rigid, and not being able to untie the shoes in the front to loosen them, it makes them very hard to put on even as an adult, child can not do it on her own like she does with her other shoes. We own a few adult pair and loved the comfort so it’s a little bit of a bummer that the kids version aren’t as comfortable for the little one.

nice quality shoe
They seem to be true to size. The back of the shoe is pretty stiff. When my son puts them on, it's nice that the back doesn't get pulled in when he slides his foot in.
The preschool review is: They aren't my fastest shoes, but I can definitely jump high in them
