Free Metcon 7 Training Shoe (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been incredibly impressed with the Nike Free Metcon 7 from the very first workout. These shoes strike the perfect balance between stability and flexibility, making them ideal for both training sessions and everyday wear when I’m constantly on the go. The fit feels secure without being too tight, and the cushioning is comfortable enough for long gym sessions, walking around throughout the day, and everything in between. I especially love how supportive they feel during strength training while still allowing natural movement for dynamic exercises and cardio intervals. They feel lightweight on my feet but still provide the structure and grip I need for lifting and quick movements. The design is another huge standout for me. The shoe has a sleek, athletic look that easily transitions from the gym to running errands or casual outings. I’ve received several compliments on them already. The fabric feels breathable, durable, and high quality, which has helped keep my feet comfortable even during intense workouts. What I liked most was the versatility. It’s rare to find a training shoe that performs this well during workouts while also being stylish and comfortable enough for everyday wear. Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. Nike really nailed the combination of performance, comfort, and design with the Free Metcon 7. Highly recommend!

I do strength based classes with cardio segments mixed in (tabata, emoms). My feet were ACHING after doing a jumping based tabata. I had to take them off and finish barefoot. The back is also very high up and was rubbing against my ankle. It ended up making cuts in my ankles from the rubbing. Overall, it was a super uncomfortable shoe and not great if you're planning to do anything more than lifting. Even my walk home from the gym was painful. I'm so sad these didn't work out, I really wanted to love them. They are very cute, though!
