I wanted a pair of shorts were I can place my phone in the pockets. These pairs of shorts have a zip pocket. I use these to run. I love them.

Nike, do better. Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Loved the way these shorts look, so I bought both the black and purple colors. They’re so pretty that I didn’t want to ruin them with running and lifting, so only bring them out for casual wear. However, the fabric is especially weak and fragile. Ripped the back of my shorts and I don’t even know how it happened! Only wear these to class! Nike, do better with durability!

Multipurpose
My multipurpose shorts! Casual wear, running, Muay Thai, hiking, and even swimming (not the best but gets the job done). Easy to opt for this pair whenever I travel. Only suggestion would be to consider wearing compression undies when applicable.

Back zipper failure :(
Back zipper failed within seconds on the first trail run. Really unfortunate because I like the look and feel of these shorts but the primary reason I purchased was the back pocket. Would not purchase if wanting to put phone in back pocket during use.

Zipper Failure!!! First day!!!
Second & third pair just got in the mail today. After 3 zips on the run today, the rear zipper came off as others have stated. Nike has this apparel made in China, Jordan, Thailand and Vietnam. The zipper broke off on the red/grey made in Vietnam. Both pairs of Vietnam shorts (red/grey & black) have a shorter cut (shows more leg!) The red/grey also has some thread unraveling at the seam on the waistband.
