Dri-FIT Challenger 2-in-1 Running Shorts

The shorts are nice and well constructed. The materials are light and breathable. I like the 2-in-1 design and prefer it over a brief-style liner. Going true to size worked well for me. You can wear to work out but also a casual outfit for running errands. It would be nice if they also made these in a 5 inch cut as well.

Absolutely zero stretch. Very uncomfortable for running or yoga IMO. As with all lined shorts , I cut it out per usual with these. Stop making lined shorts! The lining is never the right size for a 6’2” guy. I wish I could purchase 100 of some yoga shorts I purchased in the past that were discontinued. Stop discontinuing products! If something fits great I usually buy a lot of pairs but Nike never has them anymore after a year.

Not sure who is this shorts for. For running it’s way too loose, the side pockets are too deep, if you put anything in them, they will lift up and down while jogging hitting your leg. Have other running shorts but this one absorbs the most smell so you cannot run in it twice it just stinks. Nike should do better, this product needs an improvement from someone who runs themselves.

As someone who prioritizes comfort while working out, I was pleased to find that they felt soft and pleasant against my skin. The sizing seemed accurate, (I typically wear a large), but the length was a bit shorter than I prefer. The shorts are made with an inner lining that creates a snug fit around the legs that reminded me of swim trunks. I think this tight fit could work for certain exercises. Unfortunately the waist band is somewhat loose and it caused them to ride down frequently in the back when I moved around. This was a significant drawback that limited my ability to perform certain activities comfortably and without distraction. Overall, while these shorts are visually appealing and offer a pleasant feel. The tightness around the legs and tendency to ride down detract from their overall usefulness for certain activities.

The inner liner works great for biking, basketball, and weightlifting - keeps everything in place without binding or bunching. Material feels good - lightweight but robust and durable - and the shorts are a good length and width. Overall a really versatile, comfortable short.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box these shorts looked really sharp and felt very lightweight and well made. They felt snug initially but I think that’s by design. During my workout they felt and fit great. I really liked the built in liner, the zipper pocket and the lightweight quick dry material. The waist band and drawstring were comfortable and the shorts stayed in place throughout my workout. I’m really happy with this product. I would absolutely purchase these again and recommend them.
