I love the look, nubby texture and color of this shoe- it is somehow flattering on my foot. I bought my normal Nike size and as eloquently stated my toes are squished. I have reordered the next size up.

My shoes came in a beat up out of shape shoe box in a bag with no proper protection for shipping. The shoes were not wrapped in any tissue paper inside the shoe box, just the bare shoes - with no cardboard inserts or anything inside the shoe. I also found a spot on the sneaker. Unacceptable.

Hard insole
I own more than 6 pairs of Cortez, and this is the 7th. Upper suede & light stone color with mat black combination is fantastic! My only concern about this Cortez is the insole. It’s harder than other Cortez I own. Also outsole (gum sole) is harder than other Cortez gum sole. I’m not sure if I received manufacturer defective item or this is as is.

Comfy and Cute!
Ordered my normal shoe size for sneakers (7.5 women's), despite the other comments regarding sizing up or down. I'm very happy I did! Very light and comfortable with just enough room to wear "no-show" socks. Glad it was on sale as I've been eyeing this one for a while. Although, will probably buy it again at the regular price, now that I know how comfortable it is.

True to size for me
I’ve never been a Cortez girly but I liked the brown/white colorway. I was worried about the fit, but they actually feel true to size for me. The only issue is Nordstrom shipped them in a plastic shipped instead of a box, so the shoebox arrived dented and torn. I’ve noticed they started doing this more, assuming to save on shipping costs, but I means I can’t use the box to store them in which is annoying.
