I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the tongue, the Nike Blazer has always had exposed foam on the tongue. This is intentional and part of the design. That being said, it’s not for everyone and is different from other Nikes in that sense. This is my third pair of Blazers over 15 years. It’s a timeless classic and proof that everything comes back around. Big fan of the updated colors.

Ouch!
Wow these are incredibly uncomfortable. Not only did I have a hard time squeezing my foot in once I had them on they were so unpleasant! I typically love everything Nike from apparel to shoes for working out to looking cute. I purchased these because I thought they were cute and kind of a throwback vibe and boy was this a bummer purchase. I wore them out as soon as I got them unfortunately (because I’ve never met a pair of Nikes I didn’t like) and I instantly regretted it.

exposed foam
I don’t like the look of the foam that is exposed on the tongue of the shoe.

Cute, comfy shoe...with an ugly tongue
This shoe is so cute and comfortable that Im going to keep them despite one huge miss by Nike- the ugly foam unfinished tongue. Not sure who thought this was a good idea but it looks unfinished and makes an otherwise cool shoe look a little cheap. I love them tho, comfy out of the box. Good summer staple. I am usually a true 8.5, but these have alot of room in the toe box so Im going to see if an 8 is a better fit.

Cute but cheap foam tongue
So so cute, but the cheap exposed foam tongue is beyond confusing. Looks like a mistake and the reason for my return :(.

Great, but...
I loved them, the only detail is that the tongue is of very, VERY poor quality. That lack of stitching looks very tasteless, even of a different fabric than the tennis.
