Details & care

Responsive cushioning puts high-energy horsepower under every stride in this lightweight running shoe built on a fusion of technologies designed to turbocharge your everyday runs.

Perfect for: Everyday runners looking for minimized weight, amped-up energy return and a forgiving fit that doesn't hold you back when your feet fatigue.

Upper: Engineered mesh provides lightweight, breathable comfort and an inviting fit that moves naturally with your stride. Midfoot band holds your foot in place, while a wider forefoot and heel allow for natural foot splaying on longer runs.

Midsole Drop: 10mm, the most common and generally considered to be the ideal standard for running shoes. Classified as a high-drop measurement, it allows for more cushioning to absorb the impact of heel strikes.

Lower: Nike ReactX foam maximizes your springy energy while minimizing your carbon footprint. Zoom Air units in the toe and heel amplify the energy return under high-impact areas of your stride.

  • Cushioning: absorbs impact and distributes weight for consistent, buoyant comfort under each step
  • Energy return: transforms every heel strike into responsive, explosive forward movement
  • Lightweight: puts cushioning and performance underfoot with an emphasis on streamlined comfort
  • Lace-up style
  • Removable, cushioned insole allows for custom orthotics
  • Nike ReactX foam provides more energy return than Nike React foam and leaves a smaller carbon footprint under every step
  • Zoom Air units under the toe and heel put springy horsepower right where you need it
  • Reflective details enhance visibility in low light or at night
  • Textile and synthetic upper and lining/synthetic and rubber sole
  • Imported

Surprisingly strong marathon trainer for ez days

I bought these shoes not expecting them to be a solid daily trainer. I’m a semi competitive marathon runner and go through shoes often (250-300 mile a month). I usually go with a solid pair of Saucony Endorphin Speeds, but wanted something for easier days so I got these. While they are a bit flatter on the foot, the heel to toe drop is 10mm so you still get a good foot roll, and the air pocket offers nice cushioning. They also offer some nice style so that’s a plus and you don’t notice the weight as much as I would have thought. Highly recommend if you have the funds and are looking to change things up for a daily trainer.

Buyers Beware…

After less than 2 months of wearing this product for normal, non recreational use, the shoes have experienced a severe material failure. Specifically, the paint at the two sides of the toe box began peeling on both shoes. After only having the shoes for just over a month of ownership and only wearing these shoes a hand full of times I demeaned that this is not standard wear and tear; it is a clear the material and workmanship flaw that falls under Nike’s product warranty.

Overhyped

Great looking shoe for sure. And I was excited to get the unique midsole. Unfortunately, these shoes just feel weird, especially if you over pronate. I'm a neutral runner. No matter how I shifted the insole, the shoes (particularly the left for me) made me feel like I was pronating. Also the outsole is narrow. I read a review from someone saying it feels like 'running on a balance beam'. I understand the assessment. My feet don't feel planted properly and kinda feel a bit 'wobbly'. I especially notice this on carpet, treadmill, or anything other than rock hard ground. I don't feel a sense of confidence running. I REALLY want to love these shoes, but not for me. The Infinity Run 4s are great for walking, but a bit too 'memory-foamy' for running. The Vomero 18s are probably my favorite newish Nike running shoes, with the right amount of cushioning and springiness, for a low/moderate intensity runner like me. If you decide to take the plunge, I suggest your TTS for Nikes, maybe a half size up if you have wider/flatter feet. Here's a photo comparing the three. From L to R, Infinity Run 4, Vomero 18, Pegasus Premium (Nordstrom sells this as the "Air Zoom Pegasus 41", but they're the PP). All size 9.5. The PP has the narrowest outsole.

Great comfort, but they Squeak

The Good: Ultra comfortable, incredible cushioning. Better than normal Air Max shoes for cushioning. The Bad: They fit a little big, go a half size smaller. They squeak, for no reason, they squeak. Did I mention they squeak??? Overall: very nice shoes, except the squeak.

Narrow

Very narrow shoe. Extreme narrow. I wanted to like these shoes so bad, just not comfortable. Ending with a positive, the cushion is great.

Painful

Painful to wear. The holes on the toung are sharp on the bottom and stab the top of your foot through your socks.
