Air Force 1 '07 LV8 Sneaker (Men)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow; what a nostalgic shoe. As someone who purchased air force one's in the early 2000's, the feel of the shoe on the toe box was very reminiscent of those times. The cushion of the soles felt extremely comfortable in comparison. Don't get me wrong; this is not a shoe to run a 5k in or even play basketball comfortably in. However, for an evening out or a morning of errands, this shoe will comfortably get you through it. The only gripe I had on this shoe in particular was the quality of the suede-like material. Upon opening the box, I noticed there appeared to be wear on parts of the surface of the shoe that honestly cheapened the overall look of the shoe. Outside of that...nice shoe especially styled with a baggier pant.

Even though they’re men’s I still feel like they are stylish for a woman, I like the subtle hint of sparkle to the Nike swoosh. I will say they do run a little big for women. I wear a 9.5 in women’s and the equivalent is supposed to be a men’s 8 but I felt I could size down. The toe box just feels very wide but that might have more to do with men’s fit than the shoe itself. They’re super comfy with lots of cushion on the inside. Love the subtle color scheme, black and white go with everything. Unfortunately it’s winter where I live and I don’t like getting shoes dirty so I’ve only worn them a few times but they will be a staple come spring and summer. Great to pair with jeans or joggers or even sweats.

I just wish they had the classic Air Force 1 laces & I’m not really a fan of the swoosh. Not sure if it’s the thread used or the type of stitching but I don’t really care for the look of the swoosh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoe has that classic Air Force One feel, sturdy, comfortable and stylish with a little bit of a twist. Initially I wasn’t a fan of the suede upper but it started to grow on me and is quickly becoming a part of my regular rotation. I’m a huge fan of this color way and the materials appear to be premium quality. Overall I feel these AF1’s are a great choice if you want a classic shoe with a twist.

They're made from a premium suede as the base material so they're a little softer up top than a lot of your other Air Force 1s. And the suede has a rather soft feel to it. I like what they did with changing the swoosh from a leather piece to an embroidered accent. I will say I wish the back tab was made from leather because whatever synthetic material they used tends to crease up very easily. I'd say the fit is pretty standard for your Air Force 1s. I'd usually go up a half size from true to size due to my wide feet, but I go true to size with Air Force 1s. And just like other Air Force 1s, these are well padded, but I probably wouldn't play actual basketball in them nowadays. Overall, I think they're very solid and I like the design and I do like the more premium materials.
