Great pair of shoes. I bought a pair to wear around Edinburgh, Scotland. They were comfortable right out of the box. I have a wide foot and had no issues with fit. I hiked off road with them and through the city. 25k steps and my feet felt fine. Highly recommend. A good shoe for a beginner or casual wearer.

The shoe is very comfortable!
I broke my right foot as a preteen during a bicycle race when my rat trap peddle broke exposing my young foot to the peddle axle, which it rolled off of and under the rear tire with my full body weight. X-rays in 1969 weren't great and not very clear. I was told to walk on it. it is still very uncomfortable to walk and is more painful as I age.
So it is very difficult for me to shoe my right foot comfortably. I bought the new shoe for walking my dog in wet rainy weather and I'm sorry to report that the first time I exposed them to a very light drizzle and a walk across the grass at the park, my socks and feet got wet. I hate to use snow seal on them, but looks like there is no other option if I want my feet to stay dry.
That's why the two stars, 5 stars otherwise, durability seems good, My last pair of Columbia boots lasted 2 years and are cracking so I bought a replacement. But my cracked, leaky two year old shoes are more waterproof! Disappointing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these about 8 months. They fit nice and have held up well. The big negative is "Waterproof" is a bit of a strong word for these. More water resistant. Walking through wet grass 100yds and my feet were soaked. Lesson learned. I still like them.

Amazing shoes
