Newell Floral Halter Maxi Dress

At first I was hesitant to buy this dress because of the reviews that mentioned “side boob” ; however I ordered a medium, which I felt was true to size (I’m 5’3” and 145 lbs postpartum and DD cup size) and the side boob wasn’t an issue for me. The only reasons why I did not give this dress 5 stars is that the elastic button fasteners are cheap and I imagine that I will have to replace it sooner than expected because it is already losing its elasticity. In addition, the dress did not have a tag with the fabrication (eg: % and type of material or instructions for care), so I am worried that it might shrink and or fall apart after multiple washes. Those, I love the silhouette, and the airiness this dress has.

The quality and finished product of this dress was disappointing. The loop for the button at the top back of the dress was sewn on the wrong side of the strap, so the only way to button the top of the dress was for one of the straps to be twisted, which ruined the look of the back of the dress. I had to return it.

I would not consider myself large on top and this dress shows way more side boob than I’m comfortable with, similar to some of the other reviewers. Also maybe my fault but I didn’t notice the crazy slit right up the front of the dress. Waaaaay too high for me. I mean it barely stops before you see everything. 😳 I even sized up to a large. Normally wear a medium. Material is also thin, would be see through for sure in the daylight.
